Is Jamagic a good program?

First off, it IS a click software.

Secondly, they describe their language as closer to JavaScript then Java, but claim it isn't an exact match to either.

And I'm not sure what plans Clickteam has for this product. From what I've read it's suffered from pretty bad bugs that make producing completed games very difficult. The software hasn't seen an update in over 2 1/2 years, and there's not much talk of any future versions. They've also removed it from their front page lineup now, so I'm guessing they're brushing this one under the carpet. --------------------
