This has been bugging me for a while (as long as i've been using MMF actually), MMF seems to handle off screen collisions with other active objects just fine, but it refuses to handle off screen "collides with/overlapping background" events... Is there anyway to get around this? Or will i just have to make enemies stop moving as soon as their off screen? =/

Whenever you make an active object; there are three "scrolling" properties to adjust.

Right click your active object, click properties, click scrolling.

There are three check boxes:

"Object follows the frame" This can be turned off so an object hovers over the frame, like a menu screen box

"Destroy object if too far from frame" self explanatory

"Inactivate object if far from window" this means none of its events take place. If memory serves; when you uncheck this (it's on by default) your off-screen collisions/events will be handled

That only applies to collisions between two actives though, backgrounds still get ignored, which ****s up my enemy gravity ;_;

in the frame properties menu (Frame->Properties->Frame), check the "Handle background collisions outside of window" box.
