The subject of this sprite comp are the PIRANHA PLANTS - the polka dotted, persnippity pestilences that have plagued Mario since the poor plumber was just practicing potty training. They include such undesireables as the original, pipe-lurking variety from SMB, the fire spitting Venus Fire Traps from SMB3, and the gas-spewing Putrid Piranha from Paper Mario. Also, don't forget the BIG piranhas like Naval and Lava Piranha.

Enjoy the comp and I'll get some references soon.

Can we make original sprites and not just ones that have apperead in games

Example, having a red and white polka dotted piranha with petals around its neck would be fine. Having a purple piranha with spikes jutting from its head and sunglasses is stretching it too far.

As long as it's a type of Piranha Plant, even if you made it up, I reckon that's okay.

The Piranhas in the official Mario games are extremely varied.
