Made in MMF, requires Platform Movement extension.

Okay, I'm making a movement engine for a Metroid fangame. I got things working good in it using the Platform Movement extension. I even have Somersaulting.
Problem is, I started adding aiming (all I will have is left, right, up, and down when jumping, like Metroid II) and now it's not working like it should. Try holding up and going left or right. How do I fix this? :X

Well I meant change the "Player 1 moved top" to "Repeat while Player 1 moved top"

Although technically you could just get rid of the entire bottom three events and remove the Flag 0 condition from the top three.

As for the scrolling I haven't figured something out yet

EDIT: It almost seems like it's a problem with the Platform object and how it handles directions..

Yeah I don't think that can be fixed easily without using a separate arm/gun object or doing the whole engine without the platform object

I've tried multiple ways of working around it but wasn't successful.

Fixed, assuming I know what you want.

You want the direction to be set to Up when the player holds Up while not somersaulting or crouching, correct?

Let me fix another glitch that cropped up in the repairing of that and I can upload my version
