As much as I'd love to see less likely FE characters, Eliwood and Ike are the obvious choices...

Anyway, I doubt Bomberman would get in a Super Smash Bros. game, since he's not strictly Nintendo. His co-starring role in Wario Blast is not enough.

hmmmm....how about link, in his twilight princess wolf form? he could transform between the two, like with sheik nd zelda.

I am for SMS Mario and LM Luigi and other variations of all heroes.
So you couldn't only set the color but also some attacks.

Mario -> FLUDD Mario -> Paper Mario -> Dr. Mario
Luigi -> PG3000 Luigi -> ...
DK -> DK with Coconut Gun and music attack -> DK teamed up with Diddy -> ...

etc.

Revolution Console - Yeah, I mentioned a Gamecube playable on another topic. I just really think it would be a great idea to actually play as the console you're playing. It'll be a first, and would just rock.
Peppy (Starfox) - but as long as he doesn't fight in the same style as fox. BARREL ROLL MOVE PLZ.
Balloon Fighter guy - Also a secret character, who always flies until all his balloons pop. Then, when he lands, you can just knock him off the playfeild, and he'll die.
Bomberman - If Hudson actually allow this, I'm for it.

I also want to see some metroid powerups come into the game somewhere. Not sure how they'd work, but space jump could be useful.

More than anything I want to see Paula, Jeff and Poo. Come on, Nintendo, you know you want to!

Metaknight and King Dedede would be awsome too. As would Ridley. And Captain Olimar.

Characters from the Mario RPGs would be cool, like Geno, Fawful or Parakarry (*shot*) but I doubt that would happen.
