With the exception of the RPG characters listed in the Mario franchise particularly because I don't like Cackletta and Fawful, I agree with the entirety of this otherwise abridged post for the most part.

I still say they should have the character system designed so that two characters with the same moveset are the same character; they just have their speed / strength / etc values modified and the model, skin, and samples are replaced

EDIT: Oh and it'd crack me up if they somehow added Mina, she'd use an umbrella
