It's been not working 70% in the past week. Yeah that sucks.

My the jack in my brother's laptop actually got ripped off the board (I fixed it once but there isn't any reinforcement on the inside so it came off again) since you basically have to hammer the plug into the jack.

And for whatever reason, he ripped a chunk out of the plastic near the plug area so there goes the warranty. And of course my parents won't let me fix it (again, since they didn't know I fixed it the first time) because the repair center said "there was probably internal damage"

WELL DUH THE DAMN JACK CAME OFF I THINK THAT COUNTS AS DAMAGE
