OH. MY. GOD. Alright so this video right here is most definitely not going to be able to be shown on mtv. Lots of sex and drugs and rock and roll and it goes for like 12 minutes... I mean good on Green Day for doing something like this but it's not like its gonna stir **** up because there is NO WAY IN HELL they can show that on television... But its about time Green Day's punk roots showed through, I am so sick of all the little trendy girls who all want Billie Joe's *****, I hope this video scares the **** out of them

That video has some pretty lousy quality.

Seen that on Channel 4, as a 'video exclusive'. Dunno if it was censored then. Had swearing and partying and boozing then. Maybe some sex, I forget. Violence in the form of street brawling and self-harming I remember.

I think the self harming bit (where Jimmy cuts himself) will definitely stirr up some angry soccer moms.

It's just a bunch of teenage angst fit into eleven minutes.

Bah, Green Day. No more a band than a singing Contradiction.

Awful.

Too bad the music they play is for emo teens who want to commit suicide while having sex with all of their friends.

Greenday was good until their last album.

I'm glad all of you are not Green Day Bum lovers like so many pre-teens.

They are just Hypocritical sellouts who do nothing more but Contradict their earlier albums with their latest piece of trash album.

Even though I didnt like their music, at least a use to respect them. Now they are nothing more than manufactured pop music.

Green Day's just being controversial to get attention. Doesn't change the fact that they've got as much talent as an autistic child dipped in cement.

As said in earlier posts, Green Day used to be good... when they were actually punk... Now they're just MTV's b****es...

Green Day's newer stuff is meh. They're earlier stuff was good though. But I'm not going to start throwing around "HYPORCRITS!" and "CORPORATE SELLOUTS!" to make myself sound "2 punk 4 u".

They were never really punk though were they. They were as "punk" as Blink182, Bowling for Soup or Simple Plan.

All of those are just what many class as "Pop Punk" which if anything is an oxymoron.

Punk really being "The Sex Pistols" "The Romones" "Rancid".

I personally am not a fan of punk, but being british I do find it very insulting that pop trash drivvle thats played on MTV is classed as "Punk" to modern days society.

So uhhh I liked that one song Green Day did recently "Boulevard of Broken Dreams".

I have no idea what some of their earlier stuff sounds like. If someone wants to suggest some songs, I'll download them and listen.

Now even emos hate their music, so they need to get publicity somehow.

Now we have to hear this song for six months.

I hate Green Day, not even the emos do.

So apparently "Basket Case" is "old school" green day, from what people tell me.
