I am a good artist on hand!I would love to make sprites for MFGG but I wanna know if they accept handrawn sprites,noy computer painted,on a peice of paper.I can draw some sprites color them in and take a good shot of them with my digital camera then I will edit and turn them into an acceptable format.Any help would be strongly appreciated!

Unless of course you do something with them on the computer.







Then again, Yoshimaster made Super Mario Sketch and the entirety of that game was hand-drawn.

Actually, they probably would be accepted if you managed to get a perfect scan, and make a perfect sprite. This will probably mean editing every pixel so that it is accessable and easy to edit...

It would probably be easier to just get a tablet though, and even then, you'd have to edit loads for it to look like a sprite, rather than a drawing.

As long as the end result is a bunch of quality sprites that are a sensible size, without 'noise' around the edges (or inside), then I don't see why they should be rejected.

Err...

you're supposed to get a program that supports layers.

In which case you scan it, make a new layer, set the first one to 50% translucency and trace it with pixels
