My computer won't play sounds anymore for some reason! The volume control on my keyboard does nothing and whenever I try to use volume control it says:

"There are no active mixer devices available"

DAMN IT.

..That doesn't tell me any more then you did.

Your pc's specs always help when you have computer trouble. Do you have onboard audio, or are you using an audio card? Did you reformat your harddrive, and forget to install the drivers?

Etc.

Nope. I didn't do anything at all and it's just done this.

You seem to have only answered the last question.

..Anyway, check to make sure there are no yellow question marks in device manager.

There is no yellow ! sign. I've gone through the trouble shooting thing and it said that it couldn't help.

I suggest you find whatever drivers came with your motherboard/computer/audio card, and reinstall them.
