Because DS isn't released over here yet, I'd say MK64

Yes, but the thing is, I noticed barely ANY slowdown from 60FPS, which made it look smooth as hell with the camera system they had..

but that's just me.

Play MK:DS and it will amaze you in the framerate department.

All I've played is SMK and MK64... so I can't really say. MK64 was the best out of those two, but MKDS looks like the best one so far.

Don't have MKDS, so I'm gonna go with MK64, if only for the fact that battle mode rocks.

Double Dash was icky for the most part.

I blame the extremely cheap AI for most of that.

Track designs could've been a bit better too.

Double Dash!! is overly ugly for it's time (frames aside) and there was too much track litter, plus Lan felt unnesssesary (I'm not all hardcore)...

MK:SC just got boring after a while, but it was fun...

MK 64 was awsome in the tracks department, although the AI was cheap...

SMK was good, but it just doesn't seem to stand the test of time as much as MK64...

Chances are I'll like MKDS the best, because MK64 was the best out of the
others IMO and I liked the custom karts in DD!!.

And I won't say anything on MKGP, because, well...it's an arcade game. And I am NOT paying that much to find out how it feels.

I am thinking that the reason things are "ugly", like the character models, is because there's eight of them, plus the aforementioned track litter, and the course and such, so they have to make sacrifices to allow the game's high framerate that keeps things from getting slow and annoying.

Also, why are people voting when it said only to vote if you played all of them(sans the arcade one..... anyone even play it here?)

Yes.

I STILL don't have the Special cup and to this day still get my ass owned everytime I try to get it

I love how EVERY CPU team has like instant acceleration, even the heavyweights. I'm always the last person off the starting line and .01 seconds into the race I'm about 100ft behind everyone else. I'll shoot someone behind me with a shell just to have them pass me going 120 a second later. I get hit with a lightning bolt every 5 seconds. Jesus.

I'd have to say Super Circuit for the GBA, mainly because that is the one I played the most as to date. I linked up with my friends on a charter bus From Orlando to Tampa for a Band Competition, and we played the whole way. I am starting to like Mario Kart DS a little, but I've only had it for 1 day, so I can't say it is my favorite Mario Kart of all time just yet.

When you guys say the A.I are cheap, what do you mean? After playing for a while on any MK game, they stop presenting me a challenge >_>
MK:DD was no different. Once you master powersliding, and get good aim with items, the only thing they can do to stop you is use spike shells. Red shells are easy to dodge. Even if you get hit, it's not as if they destroy your chances of winning.

Oh yeah, I do hate it in Rainbow Road(DD), as soon as you get to the first mini jump, the big characters knock you into space.

Xgoff, do you get the boost as soon as the race starts? Otherwise, like you said, you'll be behind everyone pretty quick.

o.o

Does that happen with every character/kart you play with, because if so, I have no idea what the problem is. When I get the boost, there are always people behind me. Normally, 2 or 3 people speed ahead of me.
