Gamespot said it was disappointing, but I think they're full of it - the battle theme is not quite as memorable as the first game's, but the factory music and the music for YI are awesome and I want mp3s of them as soon as I can get them.

I'm going to attempt doing that maybe this weekend.

Edit: How's this for a first attempt? I can keep trying to see if I can get a better one if this ones not good enough...

And I think people expect too much from video game music these days. Sure, perhaps it doesn't give John William's brilliant orchestra a run for it's money, but Jesus Christ it's bearable.

What annoys me is too much ambience or repeated techno. NES games didn't have hardly an orchestra, but the compositions are so memorable that now they're played by all kinds of bands!
