Here are a few problems that are driving me insane with my computer:

1. Blue screens. I get them too often. I got 3 over the course of 2 days, 2 random, and 1 at startup after rebooting after a BSOD. And I get them a lot more now than I did when I first had this computer.

2. IE pop-ups, especially when I almost never use IE and stick with Firefox.

3. Icons like "Bet on Football", "California Girls", and some others somehow appear on my desktop without me knowing.

4. Random redirects. I don't like it when I'm browsing forums and redirected to a site I don't want to go, especially if I'm getting redirected to a porn site like I was that one time. >_<

5. Too often when one of my DSL's cables somehow get unplugged and I reconnect I somehow don't connect to MSN (BTW I have Trillian).

Anyone with solutions to one or more of these problems would you please help me so I won't have to deal with my computer randomly testing my intelligence as much? >_<

You're loaded with Malware. Get some scanners, like adaware, spybot S&D, Microsft antispyware, Hijack This, and do some searches on the processes you have running in the background if the tools aren't catching everything.

Also if you're not behind any sort of router or firewall, that's a huge gaping hole.
