Sonic Riders, new stuff, Sonix X style art=no plz

Sega is turning the games into the anime. First the voices, then the art style. They better not bring Sonic X characters in or I am gonna freak.
Anyway, the theme song is pretty cool, a good vacation from the angsty metal Shadow had. Classicish actually, which is good. But the art style is Sonix X style, that is bad. Very bad, I hope they do not bring X characters in the games. They better not. The style is kinda cool though I guess. Graphics are still sucky.

The game looks fun none of the less.

I have absolutely no hope for 3-D sonic games anymore.

What are the names of the three new birds? I don't know, but their art is out.

The art is kinda uninspiring, but I like the green guy.

I actually prefer the anime style art because honestly, I was never too fond of the way the 3D rendered Sonic characters looked. Besides, isn't this artwork style almost the same as the concept art for all the Sonic Advance games?

Seems pretty impressive too. Maybe they'll delay release a few years and get it to run on Dreamcast hardware. :>

And by the way, I have yet to understand this odd fascination of Japanese characters having goggles on their person, yet not on their eyes WHERE THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE.

Dunno if this is true, but the bird trio makes up the Babylon Rouges; Avian thieves, and if you look each one of them is hired to be the antithesis to another Sonic good guy by Robotnik.

It's not really the Sonic X style, it's just another 2-D animation style-type-thing.

I'm more worried that everyone's hands and feet are even more disproportionate than usual. Still, the game itself sounds fun.

Actually, being how Sonic X style is very much like the SA art, I'm not too fussed with it... however, the SA style is starting to get very old, very fast. I also wouldn't expect these new characters to be used in another game, apart from Sonic riders 2 if it's made. Although I don't like them much, I can't see them being around for much longer.

There doesn't seem to be that many characters in this game, considering it's a racing game... I would have expected more to be brought into the game by now. I'd love to see the tails doll going down these slopes without a board (Since, after all, it hovers). In fact, I think all the characters from Sonic R should be available. Although I don't care too much for Rouge and Shadow, as long as they don't talk, or are the same 'power wise' as Knuckles and Sonic (like SA2), it would be nice to play as them too, just so there's a bit of variety.
