I was trying to make a chain like in that game, Red Feud (dragon boss), but it keeps on messing up. Can someone give me any tutorial on chains or at least somebody tell me how to do it?

Thanks in advance! smile.gif

*EDIT* Like the chains in a Chain Chomp...

uh...you need to have a good understanding of MMF. You need the first chain part. Then right click on it and clone it until you have as many chain peices as you need.

OOOOOOO

Say you had seven chain peices.

OOOOOOO
^

This one is the middle one. I is important.

OOOOOOO
^ ^

These ones on the end... are also important. Now for the tricky part.
Each of those ones I didn't say were important, will have events. It goes like this.

CODE
Set X of "second chain peice"  to X position of "Middle Chain" + X position of "first chain" / 2

The "/" means divide.

Do this to the third peice. Then do it to the fifth peice, except between the middle peice and the last peice. Then do Y positions, which are the same except Y replaces X. Moving the important peices makes all the other ones stay inbetween the important peices. LOL, this is all hard to understand. Don't let them go too far or it won't look like a chain anymore.

Super Shroom

heh.

I understand this well. Thanks, SS! laugh.gif

Now all that's left to do is to test it out to see if your procedures are correct...

*EDIT* Can you make a tutorial or example in MMF?

Now if you're talking about a chain that has GRAVITY working on it, that becomes a little harder
