Okay, I decided to try and set up a streaming MP3 server like BM did. I soon remembered - very quickly - that I can't get port forwarding to actually work. So I was left with only a PHP-based option. Now, this would run everything off of a web server. I dunno how this would work, so I looked around freshmeat and found phpcast. I tried it, and it almost killed Kitsune's website and MikeL's web server. =/

What would be a good, free streaming MP3 server in PHP? That won't, I dunno, kill web servers? =/

Perhaps something to do with winsock; I know PHP can do that. I made a game server from php once; running it from a console window

Huh, interesting.

I would love to do something over on my end, but as I said: my router sucks when it comes to letting things in and out.
