Im going to make a boss in TGF where you can pick up the boss, and throw him.
also- a boss that needs stuff thrown at him to beat him
what events are needed?
plus its a mario game.

you mean like the King Bomb-omb in super mario 64?
well I have a general idea, I hope its clear enough.

if so you need an event where when you press (button) and hit the sensor on the bosses back it destorys you and the guy and creates a new object and have the sprites be of you holding him then have a press (button) to shoot the guy then have you shooting sprites be him throwing the boss. then have it when the object hits the ground the object is destroyed and the boss is created back in its space.

- 1 from hpcount_mar
and-

Animation pick up is playing-
Set Position of pickupBoo_Mario 0,0 of Mario
Set position of Mario Relative 0,0 of Box
Set Position of King Boo Relative 0,0 of box

pickupBoo_mario actions-
Upon pressing s=
shoot- King boo Boo in direction (direction)
- 1 from Hpcount_KB
I see it!
But one more engine remains!

I see a flaw already.

Change it. Don't make it a collision. Change it to if Mario overlaps King Boo and the animation is playing. You have to stop and then pick up (unless you have it so that you can pick up while you're still moving, which is crappy), and you can't stop and pick up and move INTO him at the same time.

Better yet, you should create an active object for a region beside the boo so that if Mario overlaps that region and plays the pick up animation, you can still stop beside him instead of going over him to pick him up.
