I see a flaw already.
Collision with Mario and King boo X- Animation pick up is playing
Change it. Don't make it a collision. Change it to if Mario overlaps King Boo and the animation is playing. You have to stop and then pick up (unless you have it so that you can pick up while you're still moving, which is crappy), and you can't stop and pick up and move INTO him at the same time.
Better yet, you should create an active object for a region beside the boo so that if Mario overlaps that region and plays the pick up animation, you can still stop beside him instead of going over him to pick him up.
