"If so, would you mind checking to see if the endings for Sonic CD play at normal speed?

My copy plays the video at a slower speed than usual, but the music still plays fine(though out of sync). Strange thing is that this is actually the 2nd Sonic Gems Collection game I've bought that has this problem.

First time it happened, I e-mailed Sega about it and they told me to clean the disc. I tried that, but it still had the problem afterwards. After returning the game, settling for a refund since Target had no more copies, buying the game at Best Buy, forgetting to use a coupon and returning/re-buying the game again -- it still has the video problem.

I'll be talking to Sega about this again, but I wanted to know if anyone else has the problem.

If you're not sure if the video is playing at a proper speed, Sonic Mega Collection has the bad ending viewable in the Extras menu. So use that as reference if you have to."

(BTW, Anyone have any idea why I can post new topics in every other forum with the exception of this one?)

I have the Gamecube version of it.
The ending to Sonic CD plays normal for me.

I think the Gems version of Sonic CD does that, it wasn't emulated completely from the Mega/Sega CD. There's a lot of differences, like the clear water in Tidal Tempest, that should be greeny. I think a lot of people have had this problem (I haven't tested it on mine yet, so I don't know if the same thing happens to me), so you aren't the only one.

Well, I e-mailed Sega about it again. They told me to send the game to them for a replacement. This'll be the 4th copy of Sonic Gems I'll own. =(
