How do I make textures in Anim8or?

After the bad thing Super Mario 3D came out, I'm kinda learning how to really use anim8or.

How do you make textures?

Goto the menu Options - Materials.

Then double click on the new material. Click Textures. Click the first ... box. Click Load Texture. Find your texture. Click on the texture file in the white box there. Click OK. Click OK. Click the dashes beside Diffuse, Specular and Emmisive. Choose your texture for each one. Click OK after you're done. Viola.

Textures do that. Unfortunately, you're limited to what you can do in Anim8or. Might want to consider buying a product like Milkshape 3d or 3d Studio Max.
