Any version of the 360 works with the 360 wireless controllers. There's a Sync-Up button on the 360 for identifying them.

That's good because i might get one for my b-day. What games are reccomended? I'm for sure getting Call of Duty 2 and Dead or Alive 4.

Check gamerankings.com. Right now, the top four seem to be CoD2, DOA4, Perfect Dark Zero, and PGR3.
