Scaredom Of Video Game Characters?

anything resident evil before 2000.

Also the Crimson Heads in the Resident Evil GCN remake.

ANYTHING that pops out in front of your character. Especially in a first-person view. Other than that, i've only been afraid of Perfect Chaos, but not anymore.

Those stupid mine crabs in Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. I HATED THOSE THINGS.

That eel in Jolly Roger Bay (Super Mario 64). The first few months of when I got this game, I was scared to play, so I just watched.

Crocomire's death sequence in Super Metroid scared the living **** out of me.
And Doom 3 still scares me, I love that game.

I used to be scared of those little phantom things that chased you around when you picked up a key in SMB2 when I was little.

I'm surprised that Super Metroid didn't get a T rating for the stuff that they had in there. Every single boss scared the bajebus out of me. I mean each one, from the first Ridley, to the Final Mother Brain.

Around that time, I think my dad got me the DOS version of DOOM (This was before Windows 95) I didn't like it that much. I hated those damn monsters scaring the heck out of me each time they popped out of nowhere. So I just shut off my DOS after that.

Headcrabs from HL2, and those things that that Jump up off of buildings and run towards you. I hated those damn things when they ambushed me out of nowhere.

I first saw his picture in the game manual, where his glowing eye really stands, which was creepy, but I didn't expect him to be as gigantic as he turned out to be in Haunted Hall (since the Manual renders show him as only slightly taller than Kloak). Needless to say, his maniacal laughter didn't help.
Oddly enough, he's one of my favorite baddies nowadays (much how Mingy Jongo became one of my favorite bosses).

Recently however, the zombies from Conker have been the only thing to scare me (I've got some strange problem about zombies...).

I was deathly afraid of Sluggy the Unshaven. The prospect of being shoved off a cliff by a sentient glob of jello just didn't do it for me. And that kind of blank stare still creeps me out (Except for Shyguy, for whatever reason).


And the first time I played Wind Waker, and went into the Earth Temple... The WW ReDeads are very, very, very frightening. OoT's versions are little girls in frilly pink dresses compared to them.

Back when I tried playing Quake, there were these huge, mummy looking creatures with blood splattered all over their chests, and really huge, bloody claws. I think they were called Shamblers or something. Well, these things really, REALLY scared me. They always popped up out of nowhere and electrocuted you to death in the matter of seconds. I don't think I've ever beaten one without cheating - I literally jumped and screamed when one popped up, so I had no time to work the keys during my little shock of terror.

The Bandersnatch from RE: Code Veronica. The first time I saw one of those things, combined with the creepy music, I had to shut the game off. Scared the crap out of me.

I hope to God that's a typo.

I've never really been scared by anything in a video game. I started playing Mortal Kombat in fourth or fifth grade, and the Fatalities were kind of creepy to me at the time, but I wouldn't say I was afraid of it at all.

Wuss.

I knew someone would say something to that effect, but that was the first RE game I played. And no game really scares me anymore.

When I first started playing SMB2 (on Super Mario Allstars) **I think I was 7 years old**, I always shut the game off or pulled out the cartridge when I got the the part where the Eagle Head you walk through at the end of each level was actually a boss, but I can't exactly remember what it was called or anything D:...

I also used to be scared of Zelda LTTP and Secret Of Mana. Just everything about those games. I was also stupid "IS THE MAIN GUY FROM SECRET OF MANIA (I called it mania when I was little) BROTHERS WITH THE GUY FROM ZELDA?"
