Yeah, you can pretty much expect that when a new console/handheld comes out from Nintendo, there's definetly going to be atleast one big Sonic game from SEGA.

SEGA has to try and make Sonic games for each new console in order to keep from going under. =O And Sonic shouldn't be in SSB. Yeah, but it very well could tun out to be "SONIC the Hedgehog DX Battle Plus: Director's Cut."

What spinoff titles? The only franchise I know of that has gone to the spinoff realm on the Gamecube is Mario...
