I'm assuming that he'll be a "behind-the-scenes" sorta villain in this one, like Yggdrasill in Symphonia. But I doubt it.

He says "No discussion of Twilight Princess's enemies can end without mentioning Ganon".

Might this not just refer to speculation that Ganon is in it, and not be a concrete statement that he IS in it?

It's just...the way that's worded, he doesn't point blank say "Ganon is in Twilight Princess". He mentions Ganon then says they're doing more than we could expect.

I still think Ganon will be in it, though, I just found that to be worded in such a way that he doesn't actually confirm that he's in it...

Well that just confirms everything I already said to clarify what Miyamoto had said. The game is going to be a bit tougher; this is the fourth instance of the Ocarina of Time 'engine', combat was far more advanced in Wind Waker, but this game is going to throw a lot of new tricks out there to make fighting less cumbersome than other adventure titles out there.

Ganon PRIME

This really should've been a suprise to nobody. Zelda without Ganon is like Mega Man without Dr. Wily.

So that's why Battle Network didn't feel like Megaman games.

Majora's Mask and Link's Awakaning and Minish Cap and Four Swords

If you consider the Skull Kid or Vaati a good replacement villain with a chance of ever re-appearing again you need to put down the controller and step away from the TV

Vaati's been used in at least three games now. I wouldn't really be surprised. Maybe not for twighlight princess but definitely for some other games.

Didn't Link's Awakening feature a "shadow" version of Ganon?

I'm not saying he has to be reoccuring, but the Skull Kid with Majora's Mask was a really cool villain. Mainly just because of the way he looks =)

Now with Vaati I can see the problem; I think that's an awful villain

Sigma and Wily are odd because it seems like someone else is the villain and NEVERMIND its Wily and Sigma again! MMBN did a better job, but go figure, it's an RPG, and Megaman and MMX are platformers. etc etc

Really, Vaati is only good in Minish Cap. If you haven't played Minish Cap, you really can't say anything about Vaati. I mean the stories about Ganon aren't that good either until OOT.
