Questions about Animal Crossing

...I don't get how you fish. I pull the fishing pole out when a fish bites but never catch one.

And I also don't get how you catch bugs. I don't even see the things.

Explain these to me, pleeeease.


Oh, and one more thing, what is the fastest way to get your mortgage paid off?

for the first question, some fish bite, then instantly let go. you could be timing it wrong because the DS doesn't vibrate

As for the second one, same here. I hardly see any bugs. Only bugs I have caught is a bee and cockroach.

And the quickest way to pay off your mortage is to steal peoples fruit and sell them.

You could do the time travel trick thing, but you must prepare to pick a bunch of weeds. It will pay off your house pretty quick, plus you will probably fine a bunch of 4-leaf clovers when you pick your weeds. I have a bunch in my house.

You need to have like 50k+ in your bank. Then you gotta set your DS date to 2099. Get on Animcal crossing and you should get a letter from the post office. They have added 99,999 bells to it.

the more money you have in their, the less you have to time travel (you don't always have to set the DS date to 2099)

To fish, pull the pole after the bobber goes down.

To catch bugs, just have your net ready and use it on them. They are kinda hard to find in the winter.

As for paying the mortgage, selling fossils is a pretty good way.

What happens if you finish all the fossil displays for the museum? I've donated quite a few fossils already.

XD anyway if you need bells just ask me (as long as its not like over 10k asdgjsajg)

Bugs arent common in winter

ones you can find: Ants (leave spoiled turnips on floor) Cockroach (trees) Pillbug (rocks) Dung beetle (rolling snowballs around) Fly ( leave trash on floor and check later for noise) Bees (shake trees k open menu equip net wait for them to move behind your head and mash a while you close) Mole cricket (in ground)

Some fish have more reaction time while rarer have smaller

All i can give advice for is

close your eyes and press a as soon as you hear it plop (for rarer fish DO IT AS SOON AS YOU HEAR IT namely Coelcanth and Tuna)

and you gain interest from the townhall MONTHLY k

Here's some money-making tips.

1. Every day, one rock will be picked randomly to be the money rock. Smash it with the shovel repeatedly to get about 7 Bags of bells, doubling in amount every time (100, 200, 400...). Unfortunately, while pounding away you get pushed back. If you stop smashing the rock, it won't give you any more money. The solution here is to dig holes to limit you movement.
Here's the best way. This means that the money can't be blocked by any holes.


2. Shells, Fish and Bugs. Sell them to Tom Nook.

3. Fossils. If you get any more that have already been donated then sell them - you get lots of money.

4. After new years, your mum will give you money in a letter (I got 10000 Bells!).

You'lle be rich in no time.
