I followed the instructions and found the secret cave where the quick launch icons live. And despite not actually being on my taskbar, Show Desktop was there in the folder :O So I dragged it from Windows explorer to the Quick Launch place, and all is right again. (sort of. There should strictly be two Show Desktop icons now; one real thing plus one shortcut. But whatever.) Hey wait this is wierd: If you enjoyed this story you might like the Internet. --------------------
