Really old commercial help.

One of the tapes I've had as a kid was the recording of the Pee-wee's Christmas Special. I think it was 1994 or 1993 it was recorded. But anyway, on it were two commercials. The tape is probably MIA or recorded over, but if any of these commercials are familiar, and/or you know where I could find them, please oh please oh PLEASE tell me.

The first one was something for Super Mario World. It was a kid taking the role of some teacher or something, asking questions to a bunch of pro sports players. You see a diagram of some scene with Mario in it, and the kid asks them what Mario should do next. They get like half a second to answer before the buzzer sounds in their face, and one guy finally proposes Mario should "Do a little dance?" Then it showed some footage from the game and that nasty World 6 castle with the fast pungees.

The second one was for an RPG, I quite honestly think it was something about Final Fantasy. It was a kid just playing it, while his father was outside calling for him. The seasons slowly pass until outside it is a blizzard, the kid still being called for. Then he exclaims, "I'm almost at- the-" The screen flashes as some monster is destroyed, then THE END appear on the screen in a transition from the center outwards to the top. "-The end." The kid is finally relieved, but I can't remember what goes on after that. I'm almost certain that this was for a Final Fantasy game, but I've played FF4, FF5, and FF6, and I don't remember the end title being that way.

Confused? I know I am... but if you show me to any of these ads or at least know what the Final Fantasy one was for, I will be forever grateful.

The FF one might have been for Mystic Quest. Although, THE END screen it showed probably wasn't even really from the game (unless they were that dedicated =X)

I assume you've already checked the video game commercial site?

Of COURSE! Mystic Quest! That's GOT to be it! I don't know much about it, but I know the seasons play a big role in it. Hence, why the father was stuck as it turned into fall and winter. That's GOT to be it... damn.
