Minigame Competition #11 - For The Lady, Peach

Since Freedom Fighter doesn't seem to care about this, I'll take over the topic.

Since so many guys have trouble and now this is all messed up and everbody thought it died, I'll give an extension of 2 weeks.
That means the comp ends on
Sunday, 2nd of April

Whoever has a game in production can take the time to finish it, or if you stopped working on your project and don't want to pick it up again for whatever reason, please send in what you got.

Additional information, I guess I will try to redefine the rules for Minigame Competitions starting from the next one.
I thought about taking the name as a rule, meaning you should do Minigames as in MINI and not some epic platformers you can't ever finish (like I tend to do myself ) We really should stick to this once every five comps is a BIG one where you can create such "long" games. That means we have 5 competitions in 2 months if it works like planned. Include voting time of two days and you get close to it at least.

I hate it when people start changing the competition rules, besides, that one would be really hard to inforce, at what point does a mini-game start being a "long" game?


Oh, and i'm not entering this one anymore.

It was just a proposal, as it seems people have trouble finishing long games.
I thought about minigames as in Wario Ware and Mario Party. Also puzzle games like Tetris. Also you can do a platformer, but more like time attack, not with a story and with 8 worlds and 4 levels each.
Stuff where you can get a high-score and don't have to reach the 50th level to find out some special thing that might persuade you to vote for this game.

Once again it is just a proposal, not a rule. (Not yet)
It's up to MFGGers to say if this is useful or not.

Sorry for having sounded like someone who wants to have full control over the MGC.

gah, sorry everyone, I havent been here for the longest time, so much school work, my computer time has been limited and on the weekends I'm either working on my school projects or rehearsing with my band.

I don't want to rewrite the whole post or copy and paste it.

The end of this compo was announced two weeks ago, and if you had an entry in the works, you could have said that BEFORE the compo was over.

Well it's totally my fault for state testing. I'm sorry, but I don't think it's your call. You can't end a compo with ONE entry. Two, possibly since there would still be a vote.

I agree with you and because of that, if only one entry appears in MGC 12, i will wait for a second entry if it exceeds the set time.

I'm talking about this one. And he didn't even bother to post about if people still had entries going.

Is it my job to look for people having entries in progress, when there is 2 weeks of time to do so yourself?
I posted it (page 4, first post) that I will finish this compo on April 2nd.
You can check the date, it was two weeks ago.

When you didn't care for the competition two weeks ago, why do you do it now?
How can you say you would even care for it, when you don't check the compo regularly?

And how come when there were so many entries as you stated, there are no other complaints than just YOURS and everyone else is just enjoying the NEXT minigame competition.

This entry IS over, and you can't change it anymore.

Also the competition was over on April 2nd, and I ended it on April 4th, seeing that nobody seems to have something to submit. And Flametale even commented on nobody posting in here. So TWO DAYS AFTER when voting should normally be over, I thought that this competition really died and ended it, in hope that a new one will be more appreciated.

*sigh*

There's no sense in arguing with The Keeper of the Minigame Competition.
