Is there any way to set a transparent color for a sprite other than setting the bottom leftmost pixel to the color you want transparent?

This gets really annoying with scaling. @_@

there's probably some code involving the alpha settings or whatever...

...well that was helpful.
But I think that that is the only way. However, if you have, say, a 16x16 sprite where the bottom left pixel is not the trasparent color, make the sprite 17x16 pixels an put the x-axis at 1.

That's what I'm doing at the moment, except I had to stretch it to 1600 pixels wide in order for it to work.

As for alpha settings, I've already checked that part of the Game Maker help.

Aiee, well, thanks anyhow, Pacifur and Nintendwarf.
