Microphone problems

♫♫♫ Group: Members Posts: 478 Member No.: 401 Joined: 2-May 04 Status: (0d)	I just plugged a microphone into my laptop, and tried to test it using sound recorder, but just got some scratches. So I go to the control panel and test it out... Still doesn't work. Anything specific I need to do to get it to work?
