It's 100 MB, but it's well well worth the download. It's a free first person shooter heavily based on Tribes (it even uses the same base graphics engine), and it's really really really addicting.

There's four game modes - Arena (a deathmatch mode where everyone has one life), Capture and Hold (a Zones-like), CTF (self-explanitory), and War (think Battlefield). The big draw is the inventory management system.


At your base, you can find Inventory Stations like this. Before you get to one, you can bring up the inventory manager to decide what you want your loadout to look like. Then when you touch the station...


Your selected armor type, module (special abilities) type, and weapon selection will be usable.


From there, you can set up your base using all the various modules and abilities are your disposal.


Oh and you can jump really high and use jetpacks too.

If enough MFGGers download this game, I'll set up a dedicated server. So get DLing it y'all. It's also available if you use Linux, but that's a separate download (hunt around the site).
Also, be sure to use the auto-patcher (Legends.exe, not the win32binary) before running the game.

My DSL is like 10 times faster, what the heck.

i guess it was the mirror i was downloading from, I canceled and started downloading from #2 like LuigiFan, and now i have about 15 minutes, but still too long

500-600 kb per second here. : ) 2 min remaining after just clicking the download button.
