I don't think there's a plain old DM mode. There's Arena, but that's all weird and doesn't work half the time.

What happens in arena?

Becuase I kinda agree with Xgoff.

I suck at capture the flag.

I'm asking on the Legends boards. It's happened 3/4 times we tried Arena mode, which is really really odd.

"GAME STARTING IN 5 SECONDS GAME STARTING IN 4 SECONDS..." etc. and it counts down to 1, and then nothing happens and nobody can move. Then someone will join again and it does the same thing. And then after a while it'll do the countdown, and we'll play. And then someone wins, and it'll go back to "can't move" mode where we stand before the game starts, and the countdown immediately happens, but nothing happens, back to step 1 again. --------------------

Memory is not hard drive space.

You need to buy a new RAM stick. Check your computer's owner manual on which sticks to get that your computer can take and use and how to install new sticks.

I'd imagine you'd have to have at least 256MB to run it, probably 384MB would be better but that's non-standard

Of course nowadays computers with even 512MB are starting to fall into the low-end range

They didn't.

But do me a favor and go to:
START menu
Help And Support
Computer Information

And post your:
Processor
Processor Speed
Memory (RAM)

I have:
Processor Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 1.80GHz
Processor Speed 1.75 GHz
Memory (RAM) 768 MB

..And I can run this game. It's safe to get 512MB RAM for this.
