How does RAM translate to READ ONLY MEMORY?

You need a new RAM stick. Or, depending on your computer, multiple RAM sticks, like I was forced to get.

I think you're better off calling support, and asking them to install or walk you through the steps on how to install more memory.

Damn, sounds like this game has ridiculous system requirements.
*has 1 GB ram and a 128 MB video card, so wouldn't know*
