When you begin to lose control of your vehicle like that; you are NOT supposed to turn in the opposite direction to correct yourself, especially 'frantically'. The common mistake is to turn opposite where you are losing your control until finally you do what you did and totally lose control, veering off the road in a way that could have hurt or killed innocent bystanders. Glad you had a fun time; your negligence is sick.
