This "spamming" is not nearly as bad as Super Mario Portal. And I think it is rather peculiar that you're going on a "ban on spot" spree over it (on the members HERE, I mean). The only one you should be looking for is the person that released the URL. It was clearly a malicious act. While the spamming was stupid and it should not have been brought onto the board, I hardly think it's worth getting frustrated and banning everyone over. It's just the internet. Who CARES what Rare Extreme thinks of this forum? You need to relax. Honestly. -------------------- Apologies for the nostalgia.

Many of the posts were more targeting and hateful, although they had a point, still need to be warned. I think SOMETHING should be done, but not 'banning on the spot'. --------------------

I really think a warn would be better than just a five-ten day ban.

A double warn would restrain Members from commiting an 'illegal' act for two months, less they be permabanned.

And those who have high warn levels already, banned for a time, then reintroduced with a double warn already in effect.

Harsh? Creating a forum war is very foolish and the punishment serves it right to whoever was involved. Giving a warning will do nothing of relation to learn from mistakes. A temp ban however, may do so.
