I don't understand why ANY of you care. They just partnered up with 4Kids to build a new franchise geared towards children.

While I doubt it's much reason behind Rare's opposition:

I think it's funny that Rare: a company whose main purpose is game design, can come up with amazing and fitting voice acting for Conker using only two people from the Conker team, and fairly decent voices for SFA...

And 4KIDS, which should be very concerned with finding good voice talent, gives out usually unfit voices to every character, with a small team of actors, most who can't act that well to begin with.


I'm not thinking Rare wants to leave on it's own just yet. They've just established a small Conker fanbase on the box', and even when they were with Ninty, they didn't threaten to leave even after the complaints about Conker, and demanding they change Dinosaur Planet into SFA. They sold themselves when M$ offered however (and were probibly influenced by the Dino Planet crap), and Nintendo made no effort to stop them, even selling what little shares of Rare they had left to the big M.

If anything, hope they won't get bought by Sony...EVER.

I prefer Sony over Microsoft.

Do we honestly need them to get bought by yet another company so that they can make even more remakes to get the PS crowd to gain a Conker/PDO/Kameo fanbase?

I'd prefer them over Microsoft. At least the PS2 is worth owning.

& what Kameo fanbase? That game was wretched.

BTW, what's PDO? All Acronym Finder yielded that could be construed as being remotely in context is Panzer Dragoon Orta, & AFAIK that's a Sega game.
