How do you get a video to play in a game? I switched gamemaker to advanced mode and had an object play the video when no key was pressed. I entered file:///C:/intro%20movie.wmv for the video file name. I ran the game and it said error: video file not found(or name too long). How do I get this video to play?
Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Is it avi format? I just want to make sure. I can only tell you one thing. Ask the creator. This is the best advice I can give you for know. I promised I would leave right now.

Super Mario IV: Vendetta of the Guillotine Mask is now permanently cancelled. I may start a new project.

I think there is a program called VideoDub and it opens .wmv files and I think you can re-save it as an .avi
