Sprite Competition: Items, ...of the Mushroom Kingdom

I looks organized to me. I'm quite proud of it.

Well I was able to edit my sprite sheet but I am not sure If I want to enter the edited one or the old one because they both have the same sprites, I just put more space in one, so witch do you like?

This was the original post date of the topic. So refrain from making a top 5 list until the 17th.

I must apologize that I have not been around to oversee this sprite competition, my full-time job and concurrent job hunt coupled with seeing my girlfriend, has allowed me little time...

However, I am very excited by what I am seeing. Many submissions, and many quality sprites.

Last, I will be making a submission. But I have been busy, so it will probably make an appearance tomorrow.

Keep it up, all.

EDIT : Oh, I see, I'll still rate it either way. =p Anyway, 6 isn't a good rating, not much is worthy of 4 and below, it has to be pure crap. So six is a "Bleh" of a limbo.

What on earth? 6 is pure crap? 6 is greater than 5 (which is usually an average score) whice would mean that anything that scores 6 is above average. It makes no sense the way you're explaining it. O_o

What I mean by average is "not bad but not great either".

No. BELOW six/five is pure crap. (Either that or it lacks something majorly.) Jesus. >_>;
EDIT : Lemme explain something.
10 - Perfect.
9 - Somethings wrong. (Smudge on perfection.)
8 - Either good, or it could live up to more but has a fault.
7 - Almost in limbo, but goes to the upper hand.
6 - Limbo, where sprites are not good nor bad. Has nothing really that good, but doesn't have a a flaw/fault.
5 - Almost in limbo, missing something badly.
4 - Most of the time when it goes down here its when there isn't enough of the sprites. Like Yoshiman's.
3 - Just no.
2 - Extremely poor.
1 - ...
0 - Die now.

Because school is a great deal more important than knowing how to splatter little blocks of light on a computer screen (except in Computer Art classes where it's essentially the same thing), and thus in school you need to get 90% instead of 50%.

I meant that you disliked most of the sprites on that sheet, since you only seemed to like about two out of the entire sheet.

And I still don't like your rating system, so don't rate my sprites anymore. :P On a scale of 1-10, 5 IS the halfway point, and in most systems = "limbo". 6 would be slightly above average, not "neither good nor bad". If anything, FIVE would be "not good or bad" since it'd be average.

I know, like I said befor, I think my sprites lookd organized rather than crammed...
