EarthBound : Return of Giygas
Mother 2 is awesome and Mother 3 is soon to be released, so in the middle of it I decided to place a fangame. This game takes place between Mother 2 and 3, a year after Ness defeated Giygas in the past. Don't worry, UWRPGDX is paused. If you liked UWRPGDX, then there's a good chance you will like this game, since it's going to use a similar engine with a few tweaks :p.

The Story
Giygas wanders a strange realm of spirits. Being the evil form he is, all the other spirits are afraid of him. Giygas absorbs all of them. Once he collected them all, he was able to rise to the Earth, and reigned terror over the world once more. Meanwhile, a pirate ship passed Onett. Seing the destruction, Tendon (The main character in this game), hops out to see what was going on. The adventure begins. Tendon taps into his mysterious PSI powers when he sees Ness getting hurt trying to attack Giygas II.

Comments plz. Also, does anybody want to help me with this? I need help. I need EarthBound styled sprites. I've already done four directions of the main character. I need someone to sprite EarthBound backgrounds.

The reason why is because I find it hard to work on something after a while. The reason I never finished any of my Mario fangames is because I was near the end of being a fan of Mario games. I recently played EarthBound which means it will take awhile before I lose interest in it, like the Mario series.

Also, what about Adan? You people don't even trust him anymore.

Title looks bad. I would change the backround then it look good.

Finally! You're the first person to ever make a Earthbound game, am I right? I do agree with Flub about the title screen. It needs a little more work. As for the game, I hope it is as good as Earthbound 1 and 2 itself (Maybe not as better than EB1&2 since they both are totally amazing games).

I never liked the battle system in EB but I hope this turns out great and doesnt get canned. Like all the other games you're working on.

It will be very hard to mimmick Earthbound and make a sequel because...well no offense, but in the official games, the writing was really good, and witty. Just remember to try to keep the same sense of humor, and never make anything too serious. Other than that, I wish you luck.

Or you could use PK/Jhack and make a completely new game with the Earthbound engine. Unless you want to add a few more things.
