In first place! ~SonicProject (with 15 votes) In second place! ~pucifur27 (with 8 votes) Congrats, pucifur! Congrats also to everyone who is in the top five! Time for another background competition. It's been a while. The theme for my competition is "on the beach" and/or "in the water". You've seen beach settings in Super Mario Sunshine and Mario & Luigi. And I'm sure everyone here remembers the underwater levels from the SMB series. Whether you do the beach or underwater is up to you, go ahead and do both if you want. But please let's not do forest, fortress, etc. backgrounds just because they have water. ;P Have at it! Maybe if you added some tiles like Black Squirrel did. :o

When I say background I actually mean level graphics. Need to word better.

Like you'd see in the games.

Not to sound rude, but that doesn't look very good... The clouds look like you just used the MS Paint paintbrush and circle tools... When using Paint, zoom in and use the pencil tool... That's what I do...
