I just think Nintendo could do this better. Launching the regular DS and DS Lite, as well as a variety of colors, at the same time. That way, they're not screwing the people who buy it.

Actually, they could have just made the D-pad of both DS's act like the analog function of a PS2 controller

If the DS's screens got any smaller then you wouldn't be able to read the text. Using a magnifying glass would put a lot of strain on the eyes, and probably damage them.

Since I just got my DS this christmas, this purchase would be kind of crazy for me anyway, but the brighter screen... mmm.. I've never had a situation where I felt having a brighter screen would benefit my gameplay in anyway o=...

I mean, yah, brighter is better, but why does that make it worth it?
I'd just get it for how much better it looks. =D
