Unregistered	I think edits should be allowed. Yes, they ARE supposed to be for fun, a lot of people don't care if they win or not, they're just tryng to get better at it, or trying just to enter for fun. And who says nothing good comes from edits? Look at Xanders Yoshi edit of Birdo.

Either way the focus is on TRYING, and having fun, whether you win or not, so whether you do one from scratch or a sprite edit, try your best. And you'll improve either way. If you have fun doing sprite edits, I don't see why sprite edits shouldn't be allowed.

Unregistered	Competitions generally last a week after they're created. If you're talking about voting for the top five entries, then that'll happen on around the 6th and 7th day, but if you're talking about choosing a winner out of those 5, that usually happens a week after the competition has started.
