Hi. Group: Banned Posts: 49111 Member No.: 6 Joined: 13-October 03 Status: (0d)	somehow.. i can't do it.. well.. SPOILER as it says.. when you are sliding, you need to move the stick up and down.. and it works.. but you cant steer normally anymore :-\ and so i tested it on baby park.. the colors go from yellow to orange to blue.. but as soon as i hit the fence the orange color apears.. that means my power slide doesn't work.. can someone help me trough? --------------------

I mean, it was clearly stated in the manual. Well, are you letting go of the L/R buttons once the sparks turn blue? Unregistered	They're easy. And it IS left and right, not up and down. Just start sliding a little bit before the corner (hold down L or R and push in the direction you want to go), then just go left+right three or so times and let go of the R button. Make sure you're facing forward when you let go and not facing a wall. If you bugger it up, forget about it, you don't need them to win.

No no no, they introduced this in Mario Kart 64.

DRIFTING: Jump, then hold the direction to turn. You'll skid. Nothing special.

POWER SLIDING: Jump, then press the Control Stick left and right until the smoke turns blue. Release to get a boost.
