About request topics., Rules to seriously get drawn.

Request topics like 'plz draw me im (insert detalied character description here)' or 'come on i drew you, now draw me' should not be tolerated in the Arts Board.

If a person exclusively posts in their topic title 'Taking requests' just ask them nicely and they are sure to draw you. And if you want to do something nice for a member just put it up in General Friendliness. We don't need to see a different topic for every single person you've drawn; it's pretty pointless, and after a while it gets annoying.

Also, if you're joining this board just to get drawn and/or be put in someone's game, you might as well reconsider and take a step back. We don't want any more senseless 'draw me' topics that die after a full hour, without any success. This might as well be considered spam.

Another suggestion to the good artists out here:
If you're doing requests and you eventually decide not to take them anymore because your list is too full, just put a limit to your requests. It disappoints people who get promised to be drawn that sometime later the request feature is gone and they're left with nothing.

I also recommend not to flatter a member with a million drawings of him/her, you could just ask them the favor of drawing you.

When you thing a drawing is really good, say 'Wow' or 'Awesome', those 'safsadsas' posts get really annoying and turn you into nothing else other than a n00b. Posts like these should be left to the PPP.

When somebody does a group drawing or various drawings, please don't go "sucks no (name)" or "why am I not in it ;_;". It is annoying, and probably the person didn't draw you either because you didn't request in time, or he/she doesn't know you, etc. That is not tolerable and should be stopped.

When somebody has to do a drawing of you, BE PATIENT. This includes bumping a topic just to make the person remember they still have to draw you. I'm not saying names, just that some of you (and you know who you are) are very impatient about these things. If someone forgot to draw you, that's it; just wait for another request topic to come along.

Can we also please cut out the "ANCSNEGEGNAGN" posts, people? They're garbage, and I'm tempted to treat them as such.

They express a kind of excited surprise, shock, or amazement in a way that is difficult to replicate with real words. I don't see the problem with them.

Don't forget those being greedy (no offense to any of them but it IS being greedy) that only cares for the requests in the art forum. Not only that they would request in non-request topics that involves MFGGers being drawn. God damn it I hated that.

We also need to get rid of those "sucks I'm not in it" "i'm missing ;_;" "why am i not there" ect posts. It's seriously not toleratable (I knew I spelled that wrong) and I wish we can do something about it to make them stop that.

If adsasfdsadasfds is in a post, imeadiatly followed by a compliment (Ie. "ADDDASFASFDAS That's amazing work!") That should justify it being there IMO.

And yeah the JBLish posts are getting annoying. As are the "DRAW ME REF IN SIG!" posts in topics that aren't even taking requests.

It also tempts fate.

Overusing them in the PPP is bull**** enough.

I agree with the topic.

I also believe those "PPP GUIDELINES" should be "PPP RULES." Senseless, garbage posts should no longer be tolerated. They're annoying.

There may be a thick line between a PPP post and a GC post, but PPP posts can hold intelligent conversation. None of these "LOL POOP MARIO LOL" or thousand-posts-per-fad topics anymore.

I may have had a few warnings but I know how to follow/impse rules =P

Especially those "LOL FREE PORN" topics that are actually just advertises help topics or forums. (Not pointing names)


And people needs to stop acting like asses to others for liking something. (It's been happening lately and I'm getting sick of it). Not only that, we need people to stop annoying the crap out of others on purpose.

EDIT: Then again, I don't mind people advertising their help topic...but forums is an another thing

Remember that the PPP is pointless, and therefore not all posts have to make sense. It is annoying when there's a string of topic titles all about the same thing but by different people, but I think it's just a matter of it being done constantly that annoys people.

There's far too many topics that are made that waste forum space though. I mean, the PPP is a good place to talk about... anything... but I don't really think random words/letters really counts as discussion.

I disagree. If a topic in the PPP is meant to be intelligent, then fine, an intelligent conversation can be held there, but to say pointless or garbage posts should not be tolerated is hypocritical of the forum's purpose.

Good points, and personally I think we should be locking all "draw me" topics in the arts board on site. And deleting "draw me" posts in non-request topics.

As for the "sdkfhsfds" posts, I'd say they're okay if you have something else in your post to complement them.

As for strings of garbage posts and stupid fad topics in the PPP, there's always the merge function.

And enough of the "sucks no jbl". All that phrase is meant to do is annoy people. And it works all the time.
