Appartantly someone got the game early, and they scanned the pages of the manual.

My favorite part of this is that it's rumble-pack confirmed now! soveryhappy.gif

They have the guide for it out at EB. I looked at it and a lot of the multiplayer stages seem to be as compact and ****ty as MP2's. So I'm not picking it up until I see some reviews.

Why would I want to read how to play a game that hasn't even come out?

Looking at this fine ass Samus clipart, and step by step instructions on 'how to power up your beam' just makes me want this game more and more!

Anyway, according to recent reports the game has a very half-assed multiplayer mode, the maps are all very terribly designed, and that the mic concept is neat, except for the fact that the transmitted noise is very hard on the ears, and hard to understand.

The only thing that's keeping me from maybe purchasing this title is the fact that I can have a meaty platformer on the go. But then again, the last time I played Metroid Prime it felt more like going to a very large garage sale, rather than actually playing a successor to the wonderous game 'Super Metroid'..

Never really liked the Prime series.

Or the Metroid series for that matter.

I'm bad enough at 3D Metroids as it stands--I've been wicked awful stuck on Prime 2 for over a year now and that's one influencial factor on why I would not buy this game. The other reason is that I tried the Hunters demo that came with my DS way back when and I was not a fan of the controls or format--there was just too much going on for me to keep up with.

(Then again, thinking about it, I've only ever beaten Fusion, Zero Mission and Prime 1...yikes, I fail at Metroid.)

Um. Okay, so:

- Metroid Prime 2 was up to 4 player split screen
- Hunters is up to 4 players online
- There were a couple maps in MP2 that, for four players, were very decently sized (size of an average Quake 3 map, if you ask me).

Bigger is not always better. The bigger the map is, the harder it becomes to find opponents. With a maximum of four people supported for online matches, the sizes are big enough. tongue.gif

Oh you'd be surprised how many people dislike it just because it's Pinball. I'll say this much: That game is hard.

That game is challenging, not hard.

The game would suck if it was easier.

And it's just plain awesome stfu.

Mark is a huge fan of Metroid Prime Pinball so I don't think he needs to be convinced of its awesomeness.

You can't tell me that map made up of two tiny ass circular platforms and morphball cannons was any good for anything. At ALL.

I'm not saying to make the maps huge. I'm saying they should at least have a little more size to them, as MP2's were more or less just wide open area where you get your **** fried in 2 seconds. They weren't fun, period.

I do, however, need to convince myself to beat the game on Expert Mode. Normal mode took me 5 months on and off to beat to unlock all the tables on Single Player mode.
