QUOTE (artee @ Mar 25 2006, 06:36 PM)
Mutronics

Then again I was like 4 or something when I saw it and I thought everything was amazing then.

Wow, I'm surprised somebody else mentioned it! I figured when I wrote my description, nobody would have heard of it! XD

Bad Taste(assuming its underrated. if not then whatever its still worth mentioning for the exploding sheep scene sad.gif)
The fact that Peter Jackson directed it makes it x1000000000 better.

It's quite highly rated by horror critics, though Brain Dead/Dead Alive is usually rated higher. I don't think mainstream critics like either though.

QUOTE (Leon Magnus @ Mar 25 2006, 04:24 PM)
Batteries Not Included. (It's called that.)

Best movie ever.

Hell yes. If nobody's ever heard of this movie, basically... I guess it's about these little flying robots or aliens or something, and they come down to earth and get stuck here for awhile and are taken care of by the tennants of an appartment building. Sounds kind of boring, but it's really cool.

My underrated movies:

- Big Trouble in Little China
- Tango & Cash
- Monster Squad
- Nothing But Trouble

Gremlins 2 - Brilliant sequel. Instead of just being a rehash of the first movie, they went completely nuts and turned the movie into a parody of the first. I could listen to the Brain Gremlin talk all day. I'd go so far as to say it's BETTER than the first one.

Alien 3 - It has a lot of problems, sure. But I watched the extended director's cut of the movie, and it's a pretty good film. The first two will always reign supreme for me, but Alien3 wasn't THAT bad. I also highly recommend checking out some of the early concept ideas for Alien 3, because the director had some pretty interesting/bizarre ideas, such as having the movie take place on an artificial planet made of wood.

Eight Legged Freaks - I'm sorry, but I liked this film. Fairly entertaining B-movie romp about giant spiders who made cute little giggly noises.

The Lost World - Probably not really underrated considering that it made a ton of money, but most people I talk to seem to hate the movie for whatever reason. While I liked the first movie better, I thought the sequel was still very entertaining, with Jeff Goldblum delivering a solid leading performance and that hilarious final act where the t-rex gets loose in San Francisco.

A Bug's Life. Seriously, it's so friggen underrated. It drives me crazy that it's the only Pixar movie that barely ever gets any mentioned. The only time they ever use "From the makers of A Bug's Life" is when they were doing the teaser for Cars, and that was only so they could set up the bee-squashing joke.

I agree with Klobber about The Lost World. Quite frankly, I liked it alot more than the first one. But Jeff Goldblum is amazing, so obviously.

CATS DON'T DANCE. WHY DOESN'T THAT MOVIE HAVE A WIDESCREEN DVD. CHRIST, IT'S SO GOOD.

Until Finding Nemo and the Incredibles, it was my favorite too. And still is one of my favorites. Hopper is just too awesome.

The last fifteen minutes of the movie really ruined it for me.
