Does she not feel joy any longer? Perhaps she is merely afraid of being left alone once more. Something so warm and damaging may tempt; perhaps she plays the part of the snowflake- afraid to wander so far out into the open that the sun is free to cast its beating, brooding rays upon her. Something so cold, however lonely, will surely stay out of the heat, will it not? A melted heart is a lovely one, but a shattered one is not. It is wise not to get too comfortable in these situations… For if one’s naïve innocence has been tainted, one is not likely to make the same mistake again. Maybe, just maybe she will choose to take the foolish way out this time, and let her heart taste joy once more, just once more….even if only for an instant.

Some things are irreplaceable, undecidable. Sometimes one must follow Destiny’s path, even knowing that they are being thrown into fate’s cruel arms…
