No but it's still an insult, and I doubt you'd feel very welcome at a forum in which one of the first comments you received was "hey your name is stupid". :P

Anyway, back to welcoming the new person otherwise this topic will end up being a multipage debate and that'd be pretty ridiculous for a topic about welcoming a new member.
