It did have it's laughs and clever animation. But it's lack of story is very, very obvious. Not all the characters are back. Everyone important, yes. But no humans and basicly no relation to the first one other then the characters knowing each other. The film starts out quick and before 10 mins into it the "plot" is in full motion. There's really no intro besides Scrat, who brings a lot of laughs to the film again. Maybe even more then the first one. The main problem I had with it is that some things made no sense what so ever. Like here's an example, Sid and Diego are on a cliff with water rising around them. However there is higher cliffs around them too and about 3 mins later all the cliffs are gone and that one suddenly becomes the tallest. Things like that annoyed me the most. The opposum pair have become my favorite characters in the series and replaced Sid as the funniest. As always the animation was clean and crisp, much better then the first one. The water was a strange shade of blue for some reason though. Water effects really shined in this movie which you'll notice from other computer animated films. Anyway, in general it's a good movie. It had really no plot which made it kinda boring at times but it did keep up with the amount of humor in the first one.
