I CAN'T TYPE UNLESS I USE CAPS! THE KEYS ARE OPENING UP WINDOWS AND OTHER FUNKY STUFF. HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

That happens to me sometimes. I think it's something to do with sticky keys or something similar. Restart your compy and it should go away.

One of the reasons it happens is because of Sticky keys (Or filter keys, can't remember since it's so long since I had a problem with it). Either way it's down to you holding down shift for 8 seconds or something, and can be turned off by doing the same again (although in XP it comes up with a message about it and you can completely disable it altogether).

Actually, I think it just happened because of that On-Screen Keyboard application.
(The 'Windows' key is messed up in it)

filter keys is if you hold it.

sticky keys is if you press it repeadetly like in Paper Mario
